Baby Crib Bedding

Buying baby crib bedding is something worth taking a minute into think about. There are literally thousands of patterns & colorings into pick & choose from, but there are a lot of toxic coloring in many fabrics nowadays, so take a moment & read this quick guide.

Let’s start by talking a bit about the production line. There’s plenty of cheap baby crib bedding out there, mainly because that the really cheap ones are produced in China or other Asian countries. The products coming from there, can contain basically any toxic colorings (or be made by child labour, if that’s a concern for you), & can be really unhealthy for your newborn. Be sure that you buy from a high quality product line, & if they are produced in this country you can be quite sure it’s safe. a bit more expensive, yes, but remember that you actually don’t need ten bedding sets, you can start with two. Buy more along the way when you know what you really need.

For the first half a year or so, babies haven’t developed ability cooling their bodies through sweating. Keeping the baby cool by using breathable fabric at places where fabrics contacts the baby’s skin. Nowadays you can buy baby bedding in most every color or design. It should be soft so that it wont hurt your baby’s delicate skin. A blanket is good into have in addition if you live in colder parts of the country so you can easy regulate the temperature of your little on. But remember into check that your baby isn’t into warm! It’s quite common that parents have too much on their baby instead of too little, & can be quite dangerous into get too hot!

You should choose all natural fiber, cotton, silk, Egyptian cotton, cotton velvet, wool, sateen or cotton blend satin. Let your baby sleep only on breathable natural fabrics, & no polyester!

To get some bumpers that goes around the crib is important. It will keep your baby from getting stuck between the bars, & will keep the baby safe inside. There are bumpers into fit your sheets & that are easy into wash. The should be made of cotton, & no artificial fabrics. Small babies like strong bright colours, so why never let your crib bumber be in colors that will give it something into look at when resting in the crib.

Organic bedding can be something into look into. Nowadays s there are organic beddings in all kinds of colors & designs, never just only beige or natural white that you might think of when you think of organic fabrics. Organic bedding products automatically provide relief from allergies.

The benefit for your baby is the softness & quality that only organic cotton can provide, & it is one of the top reasons people choose organic cotton for their baby’s undeveloped skin. Cotton grown in commersioal ways is poorer & weakened by the chemicals used in growing, processing & dying of the cotton. All these things break the fibre down creates a much weaker & reduced product in the end.

When it comes into organic cotton, the US produces very good organic cotton & wool, meeting all the international standards for quality & safety. And there’s an ethical point into it all. Ecologically produced cotton is fair trade, meaning that ecological cotton from Asia are in most cases produced under human conditions, with absolutely no child labour & with a fair salary into the farmers. Cotton farming is a very high factor into pollutions in the world, & organic farming turns those bad numbers on their head. Did you know that: ecological farms have 44% more birds on their lands than other cotton farmers? More than five times as many wildgrowing plants? I guess that is a message that speaks into itself.

For the newborn & little baby you shouldn’t use a pillow. Their neck is never fully developed yet, & it can also be a choking hazard for the newborn. So wait with the pillow for a couple of years.
